Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer (Mathematics) to join the Asset Creation team in developing K-12 assessments for state and district clients across the United States. The role blends content expertise with AI-enabled item development and requires collaboration with educators and Pearson groups.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing test items, specifications, and blueprints, and ensuring accessibility standards while leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education or relevant field.
• Five years’ experience in elementary/secondary content development preferred.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 assessments and standards.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated content for education use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review test items across grade levels for large-scale assessments.
• Create item, passage, and test specifications and blueprints.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance assessment content while meeting accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with writers, educators, and Pearson teams to integrate AI-generated assets.
• Support customer meetings and participate in test construction and reviews.
