Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks a detail‑oriented clerical professional to serve as an Examiner for GED and Pearson Vue Testing. Under the Director of Admissions & Testing, you will perform diverse administrative duties, maintain confidential records, and support testing operations on site in Wisconsin.
The role requires an Associate's degree, at least two years of office experience, and strong skills in Word, Excel, and data entry.

Under general supervision of the Director of Admissions & Testing, responsible for performing difficult and varied clerical duties for a department or an organizational unit. Responsible for acting as an Examiner for GED and Pearson Vue Professional Testing. Work requires detailed knowledge of an operation and the exercise of independent judgment and initiative in a wide range of matters to assist management or professional personnel in the completion of significant details including correspondence, public contacts, or by gathering background material for supervisor's review.
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
This position supports the Enrollment and Retention, Testing Department and is available to start immediately.
This position is a full-time position and works 38.75 hours a week. Works between the hours are Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In-person, work must be performed in the state of Wisconsin.
Hourly pay rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal equity, and a review of the applicant’s employment and educational background as listed on the job application.
