Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares and processes standard forms, invoices, requisitions,or other documents that includes letters, memos, minutes, reports,charts, proposals.
  • Posts information to permanent records according to establishedsystem; enters data to record and verify a variety of routinesource data for accuracy and completeness utilizing proceduralmanuals, reference guides, or other documented resources.
  • Answers telephones or visitors' questions with providedinformation that is readily available resources, easily learned andrequires limited decision making.
  • Performs customer service duties, receiving and directingvisitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Opens, prioritizes, distributes, and re-routes mail; prepareoutgoing mail and other mailing duties as required.
  • Maintains files, records, logs, and listings according toestablished systems. Searches and retrieves materials orinformation upon request.
  • Assists in compiling and assembling data for reports utilizingavailable resources.
  • May assist accountants and/or higher-level clerical employeesin simple bookkeeping or record keeping duties, not requiringformal training.
  • Performs cashier duties.
  • Operates cash register, computers, calculators, and officemachines.
  • Performs other related duties as required for the efficientoperations of the division.
Qualifications

Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditationstandards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies andprocedures.

Required Education & Experience

High school diploma orG.E.D. equivalency and a total of three (3) years of experience,including in-person customer service and computer-based retailexperience (preferably in e-commerce processing and fulfillment)within the past five years, in a high-volume environment — or anyequivalent combination of experience and training.

Supplemental Information

This position is a part-time (up to 19 hours per week), equivalentto approximately 0.475 FTE. at the Mequon Campus. Standard hoursare Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Fridaysfrom 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. During the summer, hours shift to Mondaythrough Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Occasional Saturdays may be required. The individual may not workthe same schedule each week and must be flexible, including thepossibility of working on other campuses.

Compensation

Salary pay rates are listed up to the midpointof the range and placement is determined based on years ofexperience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicant'semployment and educational background as listed on the jobapplication.
