The State of North Dakota invites applications for the Assessment and Accountability Manager to lead and coordinate statewide assessment and accountability initiatives. Join the Office of Assessment and Accountability, where we provide leadership for North Dakota's statewide assessment and accountability systems to support the North Dakota PK-12 Strategic Vision. Through meaningful data, performance measures, compliance measures, and evidence-based practices, the office partners with schools, districts, and special education units to promote educational excellence and informed decision-making.
The Assessment and Accountability Manager plays a key role in supporting state and federal programs that support North Dakota accountability measures, such as the Choice Ready program, and the Student Engagement Survey. Additionally, this position will support the ND A+ assessment system, support low-performing schools, and manage state and/or federal initiatives to support assessment and accountability generally. This position requires strong leadership, analytical, and program management skills. The ideal candidate will excel in program oversight, data analysis, and cross-agency collaboration.
Hiring Range: $80,000-$90,000/annually plus full state benefit package
Location: Onsite at the State Capitol in Bismarck, ND. This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days a week upon successful completion of the probationary period.
