Job summary

Tallahassee State College (TSC) invites applicants for the full-time Assessment Analyst - P08223 position in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. The role supports assessment across campus with data visualization, survey work, and accreditation-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of experience (masters preferred), and strong data analysis and communications skills within a university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, assessment and evaluation, educational administration, communications, social science or closely related from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• A Masters degree is preferred and may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
• Education emphasis on data analysis, research, and/or evaluation as well as (1) year of related work experience in a university/college setting is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the oversight of operational and student learning assessment processes, including developing and evaluating assessment plans for all academic, administrative, and student support units.
• Engage in educational research practices, including applying quantitative and qualitative knowledge to institutional databases; perform data analysis; interpret results; prepare summaries and reports; and create data visualizations and dashboards.
• Assist in administering surveys and writing, developing, editing, and formatting institutional effectiveness briefs and reports for analysis and planning.
• Assist with the accreditation process and maintain records for college accreditation and licensure.
• Maintain and update the OIE Assessment Portals (SharePoint sites), webpages, and other communication venues between the OIE and units.
