Job summary

GZQSO in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking reliable Bumper Assembly Workers for a fast-paced automotive production environment. In this role you will build and assemble bumper components on the production line, attach clips and hardware, and operate power drills and basic hand tools.

You will follow work instructions, maintain quality, and keep your workstation organized for efficient production. The position is a first-shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must pass a national background check.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate power drills and basic hand tools throughout the assembly process.
• Check finished assemblies for proper fit, placement, and quality.

• Maintain expected production pace and quality standards.
• Assist with other manufacturing or assembly tasks when needed.

Job description

Bumper Assembly Worker – 1st Shift

Pay: $15.50 per hour to start, increasing to $17.00 per hour after 90 days

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Location: Sterling Heights, MI – near 18 1/2 Mile Road, Van Dyke, and Mound

We are seeking reliable Bumper Assembly Workers for a fast-paced automotive production environment in Sterling Heights.

In this role, you will work directly with automotive bumper components and complete a variety of hands‑on assembly tasks. Team members use power drills, hand tools, clips, fasteners, wiring, and other hardware to prepare finished bumper assemblies for production.

What You’ll Do

Schedule & Overtime

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on production demand.
