Job summary

Staffmark in Johnson City, TN is seeking an Assembly Worker to join the manufacturing team. The role offers a pay rate of $15.50 per hour with 1st or 2nd shift options (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM), Monday–Friday.

As an Assembly Worker, you will assemble parts by hand, inspect quality, and use power tools to cut, drill, and attach components. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, plus the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product parts manually and use power tools to cut, drill, and attach components.
• Label products, inspect them to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot any production issues by addressing faulty parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Assist with unloading and organizing stock as needed, while consistently following safety protocols and reporting any concerns to your supervisor.
