Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day assembly, wiring, and test operations in our Hanover, MD facility. You will report to the Senior Production Manager or Plant Manager and supervise the Assembly, Wiring, and Test leads.

You will manage the daily production schedule to meet ship dates, coordinate staffing, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality.

Competenze

• 5–8 years in electrical/electromechanical or switchgear assembly
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• OSHA 10 or 30 safety training
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred

Mansioni

• Run daily production schedule for assembly, wiring, and test to hit ship dates
• Hold daily or weekly production meetings with team leads to review progress
• Track labor hours, first-pass yield, rework rate, and on-time ship percentage
• Approve overtime and manage headcount, including hiring and onboarding coordination
• Resolve material shortages and quality holds with Materials, Engineering, and Quality
• Enforce safety procedures and lead incident investigations
• Review and approve timecards, PTO, and shift assignments
• Coach and develop team leads and conduct performance reviews
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce bottlenecks and rework
• Escalate design or spec problems to Engineering and customer-facing issues to Senior Production Manager
• Solve problems using RCA and 3C methods
