Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to advance their career within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks to meet contract requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, coaching team members, ensuring Unifor contract compliance, and applying continuous improvement to operations across a 3-shift swing schedule.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in a related field.
• Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision.

• Plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements.
• Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met.
• Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team.
• Lead WSA team meetings and actively identify and implement process improvements.
• Use effective coaching techniques to train and develop leadership and technical capabilities of the team.
• Ensure compliance of Unifor Contract requirements.
• Maintain compliance with GDLS policies, Trade Compliance (ITAR), ISO procedures, Security and Safety regulations, and Industrial Training requirements.
• Maintain favorable working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work on a swing shift schedule (3 shifts).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: up to $100,000 plus overtime if available. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range through annual increases. About the Position

The Assembly & Test Operations Supervisor opening is a current vacant position at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. The base salary hiring range for this position is $80,800 to $101,000 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit‑sharing, retirement savings, and more.
