Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to advance their career within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks to meet contract requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, coaching team members, ensuring Unifor contract compliance, and applying continuous improvement to operations across a 3-shift swing schedule.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in a related field.
• Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements.
• Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met.
• Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team.
• Lead WSA team meetings and actively identify and implement process improvements.
• Use effective coaching techniques to train and develop leadership and technical capabilities of the team.
• Ensure compliance of Unifor Contract requirements.
• Maintain compliance with GDLS policies, Trade Compliance (ITAR), ISO procedures, Security and Safety regulations, and Industrial Training requirements.
• Maintain favorable working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work on a swing shift schedule (3 shifts).
