Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Hayward, CA, is seeking an Assembly Technician III to build complex mechanical and electrical assemblies and perform helium leak detection with precision. The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and ensuring quality at every step.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Some technician coursework or AA technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret written information and follow directions.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive assembly work.
• Experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Excellent communication and reading drawings/schematics ability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies.
• Read pneumatic and electrical schematics for correct wiring and assembly.
• Perform helium leak testing and wiring/cabling checks on modules.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
• Follow work instructions to ensure accuracy of output.
• Maintain effective on-floor communication with team and management.
• Conduct standard testing and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure quality standards throughout the assembly process.
• Attendance and reliability are essential job functions.
