Job summary

Burkert USA Corp, a leading manufacturer of process measuring and control technology, seeks a hands-on manufacturing professional to support production operations in the US. The role focuses on reading production documents, ensuring part quality, and maintaining equipment to boost plant availability.

You will work with SAP-friendly systems, apply strong attention to detail, and collaborate in a team with clear communication in English to meet customer deadlines and drive continual process

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Able to work closely within a team and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
