Job summary

Burkert USA Corp in North Carolina seeks a manufacturing professional to read production documents, use EDP tools, and ensure quality of parts. You will perform maintenance to increase plant availability, produce quality parts, and meet deadlines to satisfy customers.

You will help optimise processes and perform simple setups to reduce downtimes. Two years in manufacturing is preferred; SAP knowledge is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• SAP knowledge helpful but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually.

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
