Job summary

Burkert USA Corp in Huntersville, NC seeks a manufacturing technician to read production documents, use SAP tools when available, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You will perform routine maintenance to boost plant availability and help maintain on-time deliveries.

You’ll work with a team to optimise processes, reduce downtimes, and uphold strong communication in English in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually.
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
