Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking an Assembly I to operate and maintain stations assembling, aligning, and adjusting fabricated parts per specifications. You will follow established manufacturing procedures and use hand and power tools to build components for storefront, curtainwall, and related systems.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, tolerance testing, and the ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read measuring devices (tape measures) accurately.
• Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• Ability to follow blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using hand and power tools and verify alignment.
• Test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and specifications.
• Repair or refit parts that fail tests or tolerance levels.
• Maintain attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Be cross-trained to support all Assembly I roles.
