Hartfiel Automation Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to take orders from start to finish, applying hands-on mechanical skills and knowledge of Industrial Automation to build quality products for our customers.

The role includes about 30% warehouse duties such as receiving inventory, sorting parts, and picking items for orders, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of hands-on assembly; a degree in Fluid Power or Robotics is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6–12 months hands-on mechanical assembly experience.
• A degree in Fluid Power or Robotics is a bonus but not required.
• Familiarity with industrial automation concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products following Hartfiel Automation job folders.
• Perform final tests on completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Suggest improvements and participate in process optimization.
• Handle shop tools safely and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Support shipping & receiving tasks (~30% of time) including inventory handling.
• Adhere to Hartfiel Automation quality processes and team values.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
