Job summary

Burkert USA Corp is seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing professional to join our team in the United States. The role involves reading production documents, using ERP tools to manage parts and quality notifications, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and within a team. English proficiency is required, and SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually.
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Use ERP tools to ensure supplies of parts and record quality and fault notifications.
• Check product/part against quality specifications.
• Perform maintenance per machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Produce quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhere to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level).
• Continuously optimise processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Perform simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.

• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Two (2) years-experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail
