Job summary

Burkert USA Corp is a leading manufacturer in process measuring and control technology. The role involves reading production documents, using EDP tools to ensure parts supplies and to record quality issues, and performing maintenance to improve plant availability.

The candidate should have manufacturing experience, be able to work in a team and individually, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Day-to-day work activities are prioritized appropriately within work routines.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually.
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
