Job summary

Burkert USA Corp in North Carolina is seeking a production technician to read production documents, prepare parts, and use SAP and other tools to record quality data and issue notifications.

You will perform simple setup tasks, maintain equipment, and strive to meet deadlines while improving processes and ensuring customer satisfaction. English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
