Job summary

Burkert USA Corp is seeking a production professional in North Carolina to read production documents, use ERP tools, and ensure quality parts are produced on schedule. The role emphasizes maintaining machine availability and meeting customer service levels within a collaborative team.

Candidates should have 2 years of manufacturing experience, SAP knowledge is helpful, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Two years-experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
• Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level).
• Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.

• Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Two (2) years-experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail
• Day-to-day work activities are prioritized appropriately within work routines
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually
• English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions
