Location: Abita Springs, LA

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7 AM - 5 PM

Job Duties

• Product Assembly: Piece together mechanical components and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
• Quality Control: Inspect raw parts before assembly and test finished units to verify proper performance and catch defects.
• Troubleshooting: Identify misalignments or minor assembly issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Documentation: Record production data, test results, and inventory counts accurately.
• Workspace Safety: Follow safety protocols, wear required protective gear, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• Some experience but willing to train.
• Comfort using hand/power tools and reading mechanical drawings or schematics.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable communication.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
