Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Assembly Technician in Tontitown, AR at $17.00 per hour with a 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule. You will assemble quality products using hand and power tools and follow detailed work instructions to keep production running smoothly.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints or drawings. Safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork are emphasized.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Deflating the tires and removing the rims.
• Inflating and stacking in piles.
• Tires are color coded based on company.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
• Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembly Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
• will need to wear steel toe shoes
