Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician in Milton, VT to assemble, fit, install, and test components for complex machine tool systems. You will support alpha/beta launches, develop procedures for new products, and work flexibly between assembly and refurbishment cells.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read blueprints. Paid shifts, competitive compensation, and site facilities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with basic hand tools; crane and forklift experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings; precision in measurement.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, evaluate, and prepare inspection reports on incoming parts.
• Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated sub-assemblies into machine tool systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train in other areas and share knowledge with team members.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to the team leader.
• Maintain required documentation per SOPs.
• Perform cleaning and inspection procedures.
• Conduct product testing and document results.
• Assist in troubleshooting and provide field support as needed.
