Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Williamsburg, MI is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician. You will assemble or repair products from blueprints and manuals, ensuring accuracy throughout the build process.

The role requires basic math, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to work with MS Word/Excel/Outlook. Flexibility for Saturday shifts is expected. Alta emphasizes safety, quality, and guiding principles in daily work life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction or auto mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or manuals to assemble products to specifications.
• Check inventory to ensure correct materials are available.
• Use tools and machinery to assemble products.
• Perform quality assurance and inspect builds during and after completion.
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
• Be willing to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.
