Job summary

Lippert Plant 74 is seeking an Assembly Laborer to assist in the flow of production for window components. This hourly role starts at an elevated rate and involves active on-the-floor work in a busy plant environment.

Responsibilities include material handling, verifying part specs, maintaining supplies at stations, moving parts to shipping, and assisting with repairs. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high quality products.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus.

Responsibilities

• Movement of raw material through installation area.
• Assurance of proper parts specifications (size, dimensions, gauge, etc.) for window completion.
• Assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations.
• Movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area.
• Assistance in repair work as necessary.
