The Assembly Technician independently performs assigned cable, connector, wiring, and electromechanical assembly within demonstrated qualifications. This level requires broader product and process proficiency, the ability to interpret production documents, perform required quality checks, and recognize and elevate quality or process abnormalities with limited supervision.

Includes Entry level duties, performed with greater independence and proficiency, plus:
Relevant manufacturing or assembly experience sufficient to demonstrate Intermediate level proficiency. Typically two or more years of relevant experience; demonstrated competence may substitute for time in the role. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work regularly involves precise use of hands and fingers on small components; visual attention for detailed assembly and workmanship checks; sitting or standing for extended periods; and reaching, bending, and moving within Production. Occasional lifting and carrying of materials, tools, or equipment up to 45 pounds may be required.
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment and may involve production equipment, hand and power tools, adhesives, electrical equipment, and moderate noise. Required personal protective equipment must be worn as applicable.
