Job summary

Rittal LLC in North America is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble, modify, and package products per customer specs and Rittal quality standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include deburring, painting, using hand/power tools, inspecting assemblies, and ensuring safe, 6-S compliant work areas. Training and growth opportunities are available as part of a thriving industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring/inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and products by following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform deburring and painting operations as required.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
  • Modify Rittal products to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Package finished products for shipment or further processing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As the Mod Center Technician, you will...

Safety Requirements
  • Safety-toed footwear
  • Safety glasses with side shields
  • Additional PPE as required
Work Environment
  • Warehouse and manufacturing settings
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise typical of an industrial environment
