Job summary

Redline Powersports Commonwealth is seeking a dependable Assembly Technician to join its Prince George, VA team. The role focuses on assembling motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, watercraft, and other powersports vehicles, following OEM guidelines and installing accessories.

A strong emphasis is placed on quality, teamwork, and safety to ensure every unit is showroom-ready. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Prior mechanical, assembly, automotive, powersports, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and assembly documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to accept direction and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and other powersports vehicles.
• Follow manufacturer assembly instructions and technical documentation.
• Install OEM and aftermarket accessories.
• Complete assembly work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Inspect and verify your own work before submitting units for final review.
• Identify and communicate any damage, missing parts, or assembly concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in manufacturer training, certifications, and continuing education when required.
• Work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Department, and other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for assembling new powersports vehicles, installing accessories, performing quality checks, and making sure every unit is properly prepared before it reaches our sales floor or customers.
