Job summary

Redline Powersports Commonwealth in Prince George, VA, is seeking a dependable Assembly Technician to join our team. You will assemble motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports vehicles, install OEM and aftermarket parts, and ensure quality before shipping to the sales floor or customers.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, reads technical docs, works well in a team, and is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic dealership group.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical, assembly, automotive, powersports, or related experience preferred.
• Read and understand technical instructions and assembly documentation.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must have your own basic hand tools; Redline provides specialty tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and other powersports vehicles.
• Follow manufacturer assembly instructions and technical documentation.
• Install OEM and aftermarket accessories.
• Complete assembly work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Inspect and verify your own work before submitting units for final review.
• Identify and communicate any damage, missing parts, or assembly concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in manufacturer training, certifications, and continuing education when required.
• Work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Department, and other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for assembling new powersports vehicles, installing accessories, performing quality checks, and making sure every unit is properly prepared before it reaches our sales floor or customers.
