Job summary

Donaldson in the United States is seeking a skilled assembler to build engine air filtration systems for aircraft. You will read engineering drawings, follow plant procedures, and document work completion.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work with limited supervision, and strict adherence to PPE and safety standards. Must maintain accurate records and timekeeping, and operate pneumatic tools and riveters.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble engine air filtration systems for aircraft.
• Ensure compliant manufacture and workmanship per engineering data and plant procedures.
• Interpret drawings, work instructions and other documents to complete builds.
• Document job completion paperwork and maintain records/timekeeping.
• Operate pneumatic tools and riveters; use hand drills as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and work with various chemicals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assembly of engine air filtration systems for aircraft
• Ensure compliant manufacture and workmanship of assemblies, as defined by engineering data and plant procedures
• Work with and around a variety of chemicals and follow all standards regarding PPE
• Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and other documents to ensure proper build completion
• Effectively document job completion paperwork
• Accurately and efficiently manage records and timekeeping.
• Installing rivets with pneumatic and hand squeezes
• Use of powered hand tools (drills)
• Other duties as required
