Job summary

Donaldson is seeking an assembler for our Baldwin, WI site to join a weekend on-site shift (Fri-Sun, 5 a.m.–5 p.m., 40 hours paid).

You will assemble and package components, read and follow prints, operate test equipment when required, and help maintain a safe, compliant production environment with a focus on quality. This role offers stability in a collaborative team and opportunities to grow within a leading filtration technology company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and ability to read blueprints.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and safety awareness on the production floor.
• Ability to read prints and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble non-repetitive parts and multiple components per operation.
• Package parts and assemblies and ensure proper labeling.
• Verify compliance to prints and operate test equipment when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow safety and environmental policies.

The Assembler at our Baldwin, WI location involves working collaboratively to assemble and package product. This is a weekend shift onsite role, with hours F-Sun 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. (paid for 40 hours).

Role Responsibilities

• Assembly of non-repetitive parts which may include multiple parts per operation.
• Package parts and assemblies.
• Ensure compliance to prints.
• Operate test equipment when required.
• Ensure proper documentation with labeling.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• Material Handling with forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.
• Display mechanical aptitude
• Quality conscious
• Ability to read blueprints, and understand verbal and written instructions
• High School Diploma or GED is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Display mechanical aptitude and ability to solve complex problems resulting from a highly customized product line
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a steady work environment

Hourly Pay Range: $23.52

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
