Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on and detail-oriented Permanent Assembly Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing various mechanical and electrical components. Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components and systems.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems to ensure the product functions as expected.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, and process documents.
• Collaborate with engineering and other production staff to solve manufacturing and assembly problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase product quality and process efficiency.
• Assist in the training of new employees in assembly processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and machinery.
• Participate in the inspection process by carrying out detailed quality checks on completed products.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assembly Technician or a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Electrical Controls.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
