Insight Global in Pennsylvania is seeking an electromechanical assembler to join a fast-paced, hands-on team that builds thousands of custom cable assemblies supporting advanced engineering and machine development.

The responsibilities include reading technical drawings, wire preparation, crimping, and connector installation, plus using hand tools such as crimpers and wire strippers, with soldering equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and performing wire preparation, crimping, and connector installation.
• Skilled in using hand crimp tools, wire strippers, extraction tools, and soldering equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting items weighing 20-50 pounds occasionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
• Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
• Assists in the design, test and check-out of test equipment.

• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, force gauges, torque wrenches and dial indicators.

Compensation:

$24-30/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
