Job summary

Snap-on, Inc. has acquired Mountz and now seeks an Assembly Technician at its San Jose, CA headquarters to perform mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items.

The role emphasizes precise assembly, soldering, tool calibration, and adherence to quality standards within a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Complex mechanical assembly experience.
• RoHS-compliant simple electronic assembly experience.
• Handling and inspection of PCBAs.
• Through-hole hand soldering.
• Hand-soldering wires experience.
• Cutting, stripping, & crimping wires.
• Pre-set hand-tool calibration.
• Hand-tool QC.
• Firmware download into PCB.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
• Assists in material and packaging processing.
• Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.
• Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz's Quality Management System
• Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose, CA Headquarters.
