GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Technician (Assembly) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to complete housing units per manufacturer and customer specifications. They’re also responsible for performing detailed inspections of the products to ensure a high degree of quality.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform pre-inspection of materials used.
  2. Perform equipment operations, including equipment adjustments, following industry and/or customer specifications.
  3. Perform basic troubleshooting techniques when equipment is not functioning properly.
  4. Perform final inspection, counting and sorting of each piece in addition to bagging and/or boxing of product, if needed.
  5. Maintain work area in a clean and organized condition.
  6. Understand and follow all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and observe all safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected information.
  7. Willingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperate with other coworkers and demonstrate a good attitude. Perform an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required.
  8. Provide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attend in-house or sponsored training meetings when necessary.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High school diploma, GED, or work experience
  2. Ability to use cutting and plastic welding apparatus
  3. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  4. Specific vision abilities required by this job, including close vision

Pay Range: 18.42 -26.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
