Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a detail-oriented Cable Assembler for an on-site role in Las Vegas, NV. You will assemble server components, label cables, and prepare racks in a fast-paced environment with day and swing shifts. Training starts on the day shift, with opportunities for contract-to-hire based on performance.

Qualifications include hand-tool proficiency, assembly experience, blueprint reading, and strong teamwork. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and unpack chassis and components for server assembly.
• Integrate computer parts into a chassis on a progressive line.
• Utilize small hand tools to install small screws and parts into a chassis, or install/replace brackets or labels.
• Assemble handles and affix switches, and apply labels.
• Package finished racks.
• Identify and label cables for rack specification using a cable labeling machine.
• Assist with recycling materials as needed.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic manufacturing facility located by the Las Vegas Speedway. The facility offers both day and swing shifts from Monday to Friday, allowing candidates to choose their preferred schedule. The environment is casual, supporting a culture where collaboration and innovation thrive. The day shift is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and the swing shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Initial training for new hires will be during the day shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
