Job summary

NRP Jones is seeking a detail-oriented assembler to join our manufacturing floor in Indiana. The role involves bench-type mechanical and electrical assemblies, utilizing hand tools and pneumatic equipment while following strict safety standards.

You will participate in hydrostatic testing and ensure compliance with procedures to maintain quality. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Regularly required to stand for long periods.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls.
• Specific vision abilities required, including close and peripheral vision.
• Exposure to vibration in the work environment.
• Noise level may be loud; precautions required.
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Hydrostatically testing hose to proof pressure when required.
• Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines.

Requirements
