Colanar is seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with tools, building equipment, solving problems, and learning new technical skills. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, aligning, testing, calibrating, and preparing complex automated equipment and systems for operation.
This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in automation or industrial equipment is helpful but not required. Colanar provides hands‑on training from day one and will teach employees how to work with mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, 3D models, pneumatic components, precision measurement tools, and automated equipment.
The majority of the work will be performed in the manufacturing facility. While occasional local travel may be required to assist with an equipment installation, preventive maintenance activity, or other customer need, travel is expected to be limited to short, one- or two-day trips and is not a primary responsibility of the position.

This is a full‑time, non‑exempt horly position. Depending on the needs of the business, the ability to work more than 40 hours/week and/or weekends may be required. Overtime will be paid for hours worked over 40 hours/week.
