Job summary

Xyant Technology, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician - Aerospace for a 6-month contract in Bohemia, NY. The role emphasizes quality inspections and precise assembly of mechanical components used in aviation technology.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, handle hand tools, and perform QC inspections in a fast-paced production environment. Shift is 7:00am to 3:30pm onsite with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED).
• 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools ie torque wrench).
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to stand the duration of an 8 hour shift.
• 7:00am – 3:30pm shift (30-minute lunch).

Responsibilities

• Quality Inspection and coordination activities in accordance with procedures.
• Support sustaining business for ALClI value streams (Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations).
• Ensure that production and quality procedures achieve high accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to a team of professionals with precision and attention to detail.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be at the heart of our quality operations, ensuring that production and quality procedures are meticulously followed to ensure 100% quality for our client's customers.
