Job summary

Xyant Technology in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Assembly Technician - Aerospace to join our production team on the 1st shift. You will perform mechanical assembly of raw materials and support quality inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities include using small hand tools, reading blueprints, and adhering to safety and company procedures. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of assembly experience and can lift up to 30 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED)
• 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools ie torque wrench)
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to stand the duration of an 8 hour shift.
