Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Bohemia, NY is seeking anAssembler to join a fast-growing aerospace manufacturing team on a 6-month assignment. You'll assemble aerospace components with precision on the first shift, working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at a pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

As an Assembler, you will use hand tools and torque wrenches, follow procedures, and help maintain quality and on-time delivery in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of prior assembly experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand 8 hours.
• Experience with hand tools and small assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of raw materials and aerospace components.
• Use a variety of hand tools, including torque wrenches and other assembly equipment.
• Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.

What You'll Do

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
• Experience performing quality inspections and verifying product specifications
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision assembly techniques
