Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies
  • Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with SOPs and safety rules
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Take action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate people
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs

As an Assembly Tech II, you will join a dynamic team of the company's winning culture by supporting the Mercury Marine values of: Integrity, Customer Centricity, Product & Service Leadership, Sustainability, and Employee Engagement through the production of high quality inboard and outboard marine engines.

Essential Functions:
  • Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies
  • Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support flexible workforce needs.

The hiring rate for this position is $26.74, hourly.
