Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska, seeks a General Assembly Technician to perform repetitive bench or line assembly to mass-produce metal products, including angle bundles, motors, wheel assemblies, and hydraulic cylinders. You will work with various presses and hand tools on a fast-paced assembly line.

Applicants should be able to read schematics and blueprints, operate related equipment, and maintain safety standards while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Knowledge of caliper gauges and computers is preferred.
• Familiar with common hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate arbor presses or rivet machines on the line.
• Assemble bundles, wheel assemblies and kits by hand.
• Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, work orders to determine materials and instructions.
• Operate drill presses, punch presses or riveting machines to assist assembly.
• Move materials using forklifts or hand trucks safely for shipments.
• Work overtime and weekends as required by the Team Leader.
