Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Charlotte, NC is hiring Assembly Technicians for 2nd shift. You will follow safety guidelines and work as an empowered team member to achieve zero incidents while loading and unloading foam cores from processing machines.

You will apply covers, palletize and box products for shipment, ensure quality standards, and assist with other tasks as needed. Applicants should lift up to 50 pounds, be 18+, have manufacturing experience, and be able to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• 18+ years old

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and work as an empowered team member to achieve zero incidents
• Load and unload foam cores from processing machines
• Apply covers and other material to foam cores, then palletize/box for shipment
• Ensure products meet quality standards and elevate issues as needed
• Maintain and clean the assigned work area; may fill in for other functions
