Job summary

HireLevel is seeking Assembly Technicians in Fenton, MO to assemble electrical control panels and industrial equipment according to engineering drawings and work instructions. The role is on-site and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with standard shifts.

You will read and interpret blueprints, install and wire components, perform mechanical assembly, and inspect for quality while adhering to safety standards. This position offers a contract-to-hire path with long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical roles.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.
• Must be able to stand and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent manual dexterity with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels and industrial equipment per drawings and work instructions.
• Install and wire components including relays, terminal blocks, switches, and other control devices.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory and production duties as needed.

• Assemble electrical control panels and industrial equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Install and wire electrical components including relays, terminal blocks, switches, and other control devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production duties as needed

Requirements of Assembly Tech:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic math and measurement skills.Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to use hands for handling materials, tools, and equipment
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable using common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Must have the ability to perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
