Job summary

Central Moloney, Panama City, FL, seeks a hands-on Assembly Team Lead to guide a team of assembly technicians on the production floor. You’ll keep the line moving, coach day-to-day, and drive quality and productivity on your shift.

This role requires at least 2 years of assembly experience, the ability to read work orders and blueprints, and prior leadership or mentoring exposure. Expect mandatory overtime, safety compliance, and real opportunities to grow within Central Moloney.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing production environment.
• Able to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
• Prior lead/mentor/supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication for clear direction on a fast-paced floor.
• Analytical mindset focused on quality, efficiency, and problem-solving.
• Commitment to safety, dependability, and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily assembly line operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor output for compliance with standards, work orders, blueprints, and specs.
• Train and onboard assembly technicians; share best practices.
• Provide on-the-floor coaching and real-time performance feedback.
• Identify bottlenecks or quality concerns and escalate promptly to supervisor.
• Enforce safety protocols and PPE compliance.
• Maintain production records and shift reports; track output and scrap.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor on workflow planning and staffing.
