Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Assembly Team Lead to supervise daily assembly operations, mentor a team of operators, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and collaboration across shifts.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage KPI tracking, and coordinate with Quality and Production leadership to resolve issues and optimize performance. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and address challenges with urgency.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assembly cells to meet safety, quality, delivery goals.
• Lead and develop 5+ production operators, including contingent staff.
• Train staff to SOPs and maintain training matrices.
• Coordinate daily production activities and adjust to schedule changes.
• Identify and resolve production issues; escalate when needed.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in production meetings.
