Job summary

QXO is seeking an energetic manufacturing assembler to join our production team in Florida. You will read blueprints, interpret assembly specifications, measure parts, align components, and assemble to exact standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, can work with precision, follow safety rules, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. This role may involve lifting up to 50 lbs and extended hours based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings or assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly of materials and components based on work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Measure, position, and secure materials using hand tools and equipment.
• Ensure components are aligned, fastened, and completed to quality standards.
• Mark, label, and verify finished products for accuracy and tracking.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to improve team performance.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability on the production floor.
• Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
