Job summary

QXO is seeking an Assembly Table Leader to guide a production team in assembling materials according to work orders and specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, measure and position parts, coach teammates, and inspect work to ensure quality while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

This hands-on role combines technical accuracy with leadership, requiring detail orientation, teamwork, and a commitment to meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and standardized processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
• Prior experience leading or training team members.
• Familiarity with building materials or similar products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly of materials and components based on work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Measure, position, and secure materials using hand tools and equipment.
• Ensure components are aligned, fastened, and completed to quality standards.
• Mark, label, and verify finished products for accuracy and tracking.
• Lead and support team members at the workstation to meet daily production goals.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to improve team performance.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability on the production floor.
• Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Identify and report safety concerns or hazards.
• Coordinate workflow at the assembly table to maximize efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in production processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

What you'll do:
