Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to provide technical direction, professional knowledge, planning, and direct supervision to production associates. You will drive safety, quality, and delivery while maximizing efficiency in a plant environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Onsite work and collaboration with HR are essential to success in this hands-on leadership position.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly and welding/machining.
• Experience with ERP and inventory planning software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing team, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and a safe working environment.
• Support recruitment and participate in hiring, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Develop training plans and coach employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Lead performance discussions and deliver corrective actions as needed.
• Organize workflow by setting objectives and communicating progress to the team.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed, conduct inspections, and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with production planning and logistics to prioritize schedules and meet on‑time delivery.
• Monitor quality control procedures and partner with quality teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and drive lean improvements across the facility.
